Check-in was quick, and Chris was friendly, often checking in on us. The corner spa unit was roomy and clean, though we experienced some noise from traffic and connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi. The BBQ area was a nice touch for family bonding.

We have stayed at this family-run hotel previously and would like to come again. It offers a perfect location and has very amiable staff. And it's 5 km from Nelson airport.

We had a fantastic experience at amber court during our recent stay. the owners were hospitable and made us feel right at home. our room was not only spacious but also impeccably clean, which is something i appreciate. the location was convenient, with a bus stop just outside, making it easy to explore the area. the little patio with a barbecue was a great bonus that we enjoyed using together.
None 😊.

Lots of space in the unit, glass glasses and confortable clean beds.
The main reason I booked this room was to use the spa and unfortunately we ran out of hot water!! Could do with something on the walls, quite sterile looking

We recently spent two nights at Amber Court while visiting the area for some relaxation and sightseeing. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and our one-bedroom unit was impressively spacious with a cozy living area. The location was convenient, allowing us to easily access local attractions. The cleanliness throughout the motel was excellent, and the comfortable beds made for restful nights. Plus, the BBQ on the patio was a good touch for an evening meal outdoors.
100% Recommend this hotel.

I liked the cleanliness and the friendly owners. Being picked up from the airport. The use of the mountain bike nothing seemed too much bother. I would come again
The only thing I didn't like was not having a door in the toilet area.

I had a lovely one-night stay at this motel. The friendly host made check-in a breeze, and I appreciated the clean, spacious room and bathroom. Although the lack of complimentary milk for coffee was odd, the comfortable atmosphere more than made up for it. Great value overall!

Five minutes after I made my booking on-line I received a phone call from the Motor Lodge offering to pick me up from the Airport, which I felt was excellent service for the the price I was paying. Chris the owner picked me up with minutes of me landing and he was very friendly and genuine. After doing the official paper work on check in I asked if there was somewhere near by to get something for dinner. Chris advised there really wasnt but offered to get something for me from there kitchen which I was very appreciative of. Very soon later he arrived with a very appetising dinner and when I went to pay the next morning for the meal they wouldn't take anything for it. I would recommend this Motor Lodge to anyone travelling in the area for any reason. Chris & his wife offer an excellent stay with all the trimmings!!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, the room was spotless and had all the facilities we needed. The location was only a few minutes drive from the centre of Nelson, but had shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
We couldn't find anything negative to say about it.

A cozy stay by the main road
Our family loved the friendly staff and enjoyed the convenient communal kitchen. It was perfect for a quick family meal before heading out for our adventures.
We found the bedding to be less than ideal, especially since the sheets weren't changed during our 5-night stay.

The One-Bedroom Apartment with Spa Bath was spacious and clean. It felt cozy, especially with the modern bathroom and plenty of natural light. The quiet environment made a huge difference. I could relax without disturbances from the main road. Parking right outside my unit added a nice touch of convenience. The shower over the bath had high sides was good. Some towels were changed, but I would have appreciated a more thorough cleaning routine throughout my stay. Other amenities like the kitchenette were handy, but a few more kitchen supplies would have been useful. It's a solid choice for a family stay, especially with its friendly service.
